Teacher Appreciation Week
This week is teacher appreciation week. Our homeroom mom organized a wonderful week for MG's teacher. Monday - a plate of cookies. Tuesday - a bouquet of flowers brought by each student in the class and then assembled together (by yours truly!) . Wednesday - a poster made up of letters the students responded to this: "I appreciate my teacher because..." Thursday - it was also her bday! a class bday gift. Friday - a basket of fruit (made up of fruits the students bring in).
MG and I thought and thought... and we came up with a pendant for her birthday:
First idea:
Second idea -- we liked the extra crystal on this one.
So this was the "Who I Am" pendant with a crystal added. And FYI -- she is not yet a "wife" she will be soon though, so that is why we added that... she is planning/preparing for a June/July wedding! (more details later)

Mommy 2 Be
One of our former clients, Donna and Andrew, are expecting their first baby... I felt the need to celebrate with them. So I made Donna a pendant...
It makes me giddy to see this... I bet Donna is so excited! I wonder if Andrew is nervous. Do you remember the first time you found out you were pregnant? I was shocked... and so excited! After a few months, I was nervous and scared. Now, I can probably have 10 children and not bat an eye... Okay, that is a bit of an exaggeration (okay, a lot)! I really do love having a large family. My 3 never tire of playing with one another. They don't always get along, but at the end of the day, I can tell they love each other... A sure sign? They have their own beds, but they choose to cuddle in the same bed 90% of the time! Now, that is one crowded bed!

Who I Am -- The "Corinna" Pendant
As women, we wear a variety of hats, right? We hold a different "title" to a different person whom we interact with on a daily basis. To a single person, we hold just one title and play just that one role. But if you step back, you will see that women play so many different roles. Take my dear friend, Corinna, for example. She means a lot to us. Although she is my friend, I often think of her as my sister. Her mom is a dear friend to me, almost like a mom. So, Corinna graciously shares her mom with me and my children. Isn't that nice? I have always wanted to make her something special, but just could never think of something that was special "enough." Then one day it dawned on me... I will make her a pendant that reveals to others the roles that she plays... all the different hat she wears.
How many roles do you play?

The "Mr. and Mrs."
How cute would this be for feeding each other wedding cake?! (Unless you want to smash it then this will not be a good idea! LOL)
The "Mr. and Mrs." wedding cake forks - $20:
(I used dinner forks here, but will be stamping on salad/dessert forks for sale)
I can also add the wedding date on the handle!
Makes me want to get married again.... (that's our wedding date, by the way!)
