Happy Chinese New Year!!!

The children made these firecrackers to hang on our door -- what a way to ring ring in the Chinese New Year!  Want to make this?  Go visit Steph and her adorable girls.  They have a wonderful tutorial!

These firecrackers will chase away the old and make room for the new!  Welcome Year of the Dragon!

A baby gift

My college roommate from UCLA, Gina, had her baby waaaay back in October.  I know, I know... I am such a loser of a friend, aren't I?  I didn't mean to let the date slip past me...but life got busy, the chidlren got sick, I got sick... then life became busy again, and then the children got sick again... and then the holidays approached...  Yes, life does get  busy and time just flies by!  Thank goodness she does not read my blog... So I am now going to post that I FINALLY made Baby Russell a gift!

This is my favorite!  Isn't it so adorable?!  I found a shirt that was given to me by Leo this past summer.  I was experimenting on some patterns for my daughter but never got to finishing them... so I got the shirt out and cut a small part out and made this cute little tie for his onesie! I'm happy at how adorable it turned out.  I hope he still fits these...

Big Sisters

Last week, a dear friend of mine, Danielle, emailed and requested 2 necklaces for her daughters... She is in her last few days of her 3rd pregnancy... Baby boy is ready to pop out and meet the world!  I was happy to oblige!  This is what we came up with:

She is planning on packing these in her hospital bags and presenting these to her girls when baby boy arrives and they meet him at the hospital.  So sweet!!!!  I can't wait to meet him too!
